How do you calculate cost per design?
- Row length = design height + ¼″ gap.
- Designs per row = how many fit across 22″ with ¼″ gaps.
- Row cost = row length × your price per inch.
- Cost per design = row cost ÷ designs per row.
Example: a 10″ × 11″ front. Row = 11.25″. Two fit across. At $0.50 per inch the row costs $5.63, so each print costs about $2.81. At $0.42 it is about $2.36; at $0.34 wholesale about $1.91.

Row math assumes the whole sheet is used. On a single 22″ × 12″ sheet, eighteen 3″ logos fill only 9.5″ of the 12″, so each costs about $0.33. Fill the leftover strip with other designs, or quote from the sheet total.
