How do NFC cards work?
The card has a small NFC chip inside. When someone holds an NFC-enabled phone near the card, the phone reads the link on the chip and opens it. No battery or charging needed.
Do customers need an app?
For a normal link (Google reviews, a website, social media), most iPhones and Android phones open it without an app. Add a QR code to your design for phones without NFC.
What is the difference between Unprogrammed and Ready to use?
Unprogrammed cards ship with an empty chip; you write your link with a free app such as NFC Tools. Ready to use (+$2) means we write your link and test the card before it ships.
Can I change the link later?
Yes. The chip is reprogrammable, so you can write a new link with an NFC app without reprinting the card.
