Ordering
What is DTF printing?
DTF (direct-to-film) prints your design onto a special film with a white base and a hot-melt adhesive. You heat press it onto the garment and peel the film away. Full color, soft feel, no weeding.
Which ordering option should I choose?
Many different designs: Gang Sheet Builder. A finished 22″-wide file: Upload Gang Sheet. Lots of copies of one design: Transfers by Size.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimums. Order one transfer or one thousand.
What files can I upload?
PNG with a transparent background works best. We also take PDF, SVG, AI and PSD, up to 500 MB per file (300 MB for Upload Gang Sheet and Upload UV DTF Gang Sheet). See our File Guidelines for the details.
Do you check my file before printing?
Yes. A real person checks every file. If something looks off, like low resolution, a white background box or cut-off edges, we email you before we print.
Pressing & quality
Do I need a heat press?
Yes. DTF needs even heat and pressure: 275°F for 7 seconds at medium pressure, peel hot, then a 5-second second press. We don't recommend a household iron. See our pressing instructions.
Which fabrics does DTF work on?
Cotton, polyester, poly-cotton blends, denim, canvas and fleece. Light and dark colors both work. For nylon, coated or very stretchy fabrics, do a test press first.
How long do the prints last?
Pressed at the right settings and washed cold, inside out and hung to dry, DTF prints stay bright and flexible through dozens of washes. Follow our care instructions.
What is UV DTF?
UV DTF transfers are stickers for hard surfaces: cups, tumblers, phone cases, glass and more. No heat needed. Peel, stick, press down and remove the top film.
Shipping & orders
How fast do you ship?
Orders placed by 2:00 PM PT, Monday to Friday, ship the same day. Delivery time depends on the shipping method you pick at checkout.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Orders of $75 or more ship free, and DTF and UV DTF orders ship free from $50. Smaller orders ship for $5.99.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Contact us as soon as possible. We move fast, so once an order has gone to print we can’t change it.
What if something is wrong with my print?
Contact us with your order number and a photo. If we made a mistake, we reprint it free.
Custom products
Can you print my design on a tote bag?
Yes. Pick a bag, upload your design and choose “Custom print”. We print it with our DTF and press it on for you.
How do custom neck labels work?
Design your label once, enter how many you need per size and we print each size with its own size on the label. You press them inside the shirt, no more scratchy tags.
Can I see my metal business card before ordering?
Yes. The card designer shows a live preview of the front and back while you type. We also check every card and email you if anything looks off.
